Bstreetshoes is your home for customized, hand painted shoes. Blake's inspiration for art comes from many different artists. The truth is though, he owes everything to his mother. Growing up she was an art professor at a local college. He had unlimited opportunity to get his hands on whatever art supplies his little heart desired. She has given him a hands on role in her professional art career and he is very thankful for that. Her expertise covers everything from pottery to stained glass, her latest endevor being kiln-formed glass. Her support and love of art has opened his eyes and made him appreciate it for everything it is. He's always customized things for friends. Bikes, hats, shirts, and now shoes. Blake loves drawing on shoes because it is a loud fashion statement. Since 2010 he has been working with TOMS shoes as an artist customizing shoes at ‘Style Your Sole’ events throughout California.  First let me just say, Blake did a phenomenal job on these TOMS! The design is absolutely PERFECT, especially for my girls who are CRAZED Giants fans! I seriously can't wait for football season. Blake uses acrylic paints and inks and also coats each pair of shoes with a protection gloss to ensure your artwork stays. I have my eyes set on his Pink Dream Catchers and his Black Glitter Peacock Feathers.
