When I think about Vacation, the first thing that comes to mind is " I wonder if I will get my menstrual cycle?" I'm sure you are wondering why and the answer is simple, Cycle Survival Kit! I like to be prepared when it comes to my Menstrual Cycle especially on Vacation because well you just never know. Thankfully I was prepared because while on Vacation in Disney, I didn't rent a car and let's face it Disney isn't going to have everything you need to feel confident and comfortable during your Cycle. And who wants to miss a day of meeting Princesses? Definitely not this mom! So before I even started packing, the first thing I did was visit my local Walgreens for all my Cycle Survival Kit needs.
My Cycle Survival Kit includes Maxi Pads, Panty Liners and Tampons. Oh and of course CHOCOLATE! I'm sure you know why.. ;) Since this was my first time packing a Vacation Cycle Survival Kit I decided to include a little bit of everything and by everything I mean a little bit of this and a little bit of that. When I go to Walgreens I go directly to the aisle that has all my Menstrual Cycle needs. I also like to bring a Cycle Survival Kit Shopping List. As you can tell, I like to be prepared. While shopping I noticed some new products by Kotex. U by Kotex Curves® and U by Kotex® Lightdays Liners, I knew right away I needed to include these new products in my Survival Kit.
Now you see why these new Kotex products have been added to my Cycle Survival Kit! Every girl deserves to feel confident on their Menstrual Cycle, especially while on Vacation. Kotex definitely kept that in mind when making these U by Kotex products! Being prepared was perfect because I ended up getting my Cycle three days into vacation and these new U by Kotex products not only had zero leakage but provided great coverage. I didn't miss a day of meeting Princesses and my girls had a wonderful time. I of course shared my chocolate and the extras I packed came in hand since a friend got hers as well and wasn't prepared.

The one thing I loved about the new U by Kotex Curves® was the designs. From bright fun colors to the actual liners, everything was perfect! Forget feeling embarrassed when it comes to these Liners and boy did I feel comfortable putting them in my back pocket. The U by Kotex® Lightdays Liners came in hand on those sweaty days, which in Florida is EVERYDAY! You know how sometimes you feel sticky down there? Well with these Lightday Liners, it feels like you aren't even wearing them. They are comfortable and kept me feeling fresh! Which definitely boosted my confidence. And, they are the perfect Tampon backup.

I have used Kotex for years now. I am allergic to the dry weave from another brand, so Kotex works well and doesn't give me a rash - score.

ReplyDeleteI love the packaging - it's so pretty! I'm old enough now that when my period arrives, it does it with a vengeance! If I'm not prepared, it's game over, lol! I've even had to leave social events because of it :-(. I love the idea of having a few of each product so that you're prepared no matter what (and you have enough to share with a friend too!).

ReplyDeleteI would definitely pack something like this on my next vacation, the chocolate in the bag is perfect! You can have all the pads and tampons in the world, but when that chocolate craving kicks in you become a monster until you find it.
