Easy Sweet Potato Casserole♥

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it's time to start planning my dinner menu. Mine always starts with Turkey and ends with Desserts. But, one of my favorite dishes is my moms Sweet Potato Casserole. I look forward to this dish every single year and I never knew how easy is was to make until now and thanks to my absolute favorite one stop shop, Stop & Shop. Well here it is, My Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe:

Ingredients:

3 Cups of Mashed Sweet Potatoes

2 tbsp of Melted Butter

1/2 Cup of Milk

1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar, packed

1 tbsp of Vanilla Extract

1 Large Egg

1/2 tbsp of Salt 

Ingredients for Topping:

1/2 Cup of All-Purpose Flour 

1/3 Cup of  Brown Sugar, packed

4 tbsp of Melted Butter

3/4 Cups of Chopped Pecans 

Mini Marshmallows

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and butter your baking dish.

Whisk together the Butter, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Milk, Brown Sugar, Vanilla, and Egg in a large bowl. Transfer to your buttered baking dish.

For the Topping: Combined the Flour, Brown Sugar and Melted Butter in a Medium Bowl until moist and the mixture clumps together. Stir in the Pecans and spread over the top of the Sweet Potatoes in an even layer. Last add your Mini Marshmallows on top. 

Bake for 25-30 Minutes or mostly set in the center and golden on top.
