That something different, something better is Uncorked Ventures. Uncorked Ventures provides its customers with the best wines from California, Washington, and Oregon. A great majority of these wines come from small artisan producers whose wines are not widely available. By making frequent trips to wine country, they develop relationships with top winemakers that grant them access to the high quality, limited production wines their customers desire.

Groovy Lab in a Box Review/Giveaway♥

Groovy Lab in a Box is full of everything a child needs to learn about and do hands on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) experiments. Their monthly box activates thinking, questioning, inquiring, and original creation as they guide children through “SCIENTIFIC INQUIRY & the ENGINEERING DESIGN PROCESS.” It’s probably something a little bit different from other experiments experienced in the past. Each month features all the supplies needed to complete activities, experiments, and design challenges outlined in their custom, subject specific lab notebook along with FUN web based learning in “Beyond...in a Box” found on their website. If children are “engineering” their very own original designs, then they are doing the “E” in STEM. It’s the application of their prior knowledge in science, mathematics, and utilization of technology that they apply in order to create! All children are natural “STEMists!” STEM•ist /stĕmʹĭst/ n. expert in applying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Explorer, creator, inventor…STEMist!

Zeenie Dollz Review♥

The concept and mission behind Zeenie Dollz started with a sketch. It was a mother and daughter team that brought it to life. Hansini, the creator, designer and inventor of the cute face dolls series, showed her mother, Laxmi, a beautiful sketch of a girl doll toy with flowing blue hair and explained that her persona was that of Mother Earth. With overwhelming support and belief in the concept, Laxmi used her toy industry experience to bring Zennia, the first unique doll in the series, to life. From there, the duo have worked together intimately through every step of the creative process to take a beautiful sketch, with a meaningful cause and a passion for the environment, and merge that into the Zeenie Dollz series you see today.

Butterfly Bakery Review♥

In 1998, she started experimenting with Sugar Free desserts that her mom could enjoy. See, she has diabetes and the choices at the time were limited. She set out on a mission to satisfy her sweet tooth. This was no easy task, as she is an exquisite baker and very tough critic. She kept experimenting with sugar free recipes, baking cakes and muffins - even creating my own buttercream frosting... until one day, her Mom took a bite of my cake and declared it, “Simplesmente perfeito!” (’Just perfect’ in Portuguese). I knew she was on to something when I started to get requests from friends and family who didn’t even have diabetes! Today she makes a full garden of varieties of baked goods from Sugar Free, No Sugar Added, Gluten Free, Whole Grain and Low Calorie - all with the distinctive Butterfly taste that passed her mom’s first test. What is the secret ingredient to our trademark taste? Love. Baked right in. Aproveite! (Enjoy!)
