They point out that in most laboratory studies in mice, the ketogenic diet helps to reduce tumor growth . However, they conclude that: " the available data are insufficient and do not provide evidence as to the interest of the ketogenic diet in the prevention of human cancers " 23 .
Other researchers have compiled studies that test the ketogenic diet on humans in 2018: they are few, are interested in different cancers at different stages of the disease: their heterogeneity does not allow to conclude to a favorable effect of the ketogenic diet
